1 Floral Print
For those of us who love the Romantic Style, floral prints burst into bloom once again; From simple sprigs to delicate tea roses, girlish daises, bold flowers and lush, exotic hibiscus.
If you love the style then go all the way with fairy prints on feather light fabrics!
Forget shrinking violets this summer, florals are bold and beautiful in striking colours. For the ultimate in romance, floor-sweeping frocks literally sweep the floor in the fashion stakes.
For more subtle version look for oversized corsages on shoulders, headscarves and ties
2. In the Navy
With a palette of navy, white and red, a sea of stripes and playful takes on classic shapes, the nautical trend makes a comeback.
The classic combination of navy and white rules the waves, while a dash of red adds a fresher approach. The staple sailor striped top gets a new lease of life in the form of dresses & other items.
3. Modern Art Print
For those of us who love a dramatic style, abstract prints, brushstrokes & conceptual detailing is the trend.
Dresses acted as canvases for designers artistic ideals, with spray-paint and brushstroke effects. Graphic prints echoed the silhouettes from angular abstracts on sharp A-line dresses to swirling sketches on flowing silks. Quirky colour combinations rule, with muted shades meeting neon brights.
4. Delicate confections
Again a Romantic influence, are the delicious fabrics layered like fine pastry that will be seen this season. The season's freshest dress shape is short with cascading with frills.
Soft neutral and flesh tones
give these pieces a lighter-
than-air feel.
5. Flash of bright and breezy colour makes for one of springs punchiest trends.
Continued from winters brights try deep purples or brilliant blues, from electric to midnight. Enjoy a vitamin C overload, with yellows and oranges, from saffron to mango.
See colours used in tie-dye effect, combinations of tonal shades or paired with
simples shapes.
